Another Step

Others thought I was dragging,
with all the dilly dally.
But it takes time and reflection,
to compose the desired melody.

More than fourteen months,
and we're standing here again.
Unanswered questions everywhere,
will the day end in pain?

It began with a lovely dinner,
infused with our honest sharing.
Through the words we exhanged,
I know you're still caring.

We spoke in love and in truth,
the air was finally cleared.
The night did not end with hurt,
just as how u initially feared.

Now the past is behind us,
resetting this journey anew.
Walking on this road with the Lord,
together with you.
