Dazed

Woo!! My birthday presents I received this year included strands of white hairs! With initial frequency of 2 tuition sessions a week, up to 5-7 times a week, I wonder how much rest the kids are receiving each day. And we haven't factor in the daily school cirriculum, supplementary lessons, chinese tuition, and lessons from another 3rd tutor.

I would think our primary roles in tuition (for my case that is) are to supervise the kids, rather than being educators. These kids are bright, and i guess they could just be lacking the self motivation to do their own revision and have the need for someone to seat with them for work to be done.

But with 3 tutors continuously? There's an aura of lethargy radiating from the poor kids whenever i step into the house.

But thankfully, the PSLE has ended, and i pray that his effort will reflect on that certificate in a month's time. I hope.
