fixing the red kite

I've just survived a mid-term examination without attending any of its relavent lectures. I'm not boasting, perhaps i'm just giving myself an excuse to not do well in today's paper? But hey, today wasn't that bad! I'm attemting to achieve 90% for today.

Perhaps high hopes and dreams are causes of disappointments when the kite fails to soar up high. Perhaps.

As always, my brain is always distracted. Because I'm supposed to be preparing for yet another pre-lab quiz tmr! Goodnight!

'But Jesus immediately said to them:
"Take courage! It is I. Don't be afraid."'

-Matthew 14:27-

haha that's the idea. Aim for the sky, miss the sky, never mind, you've still got the clouds. Cos if you aim for the clouds and miss it, all you've got is the floor lol.

Therefore, my thesis statement is, it is justifiable to aim high. Even when it is unrealistically high so as to achieve one's full potential.

in any given timeline, the rate of condensation in the sky may not be quick enough for cloud formation. There'll still be instances, where one will reach the floor even after missing the sky.

Besides, it is the clouds that are not always satisfying to be at.

HAHA!! True true.... hmmm...

But, the golden question we ask ourselves at the end of the day is, are we going to let that stop us from achieving our dreams and all that holds dear to our hearts?

Sometimes, even daring to try is a step of faith. But we are assured that we only need to do our human best, and let God do the rest for us:)

One of my favourite quotes is from Batman: The Dark Knight. Bruce Wayne fell into a dry well and broke his arm, and his father though rich and having many servants, personally climbed down to get his son. While carry bruce back into the house, the father asked bruce "why do we fall, Bruce?" and answering his own question he said, "so we can pick ourselves up." I teared cos the father was lovingly teaching his son precious lessons. One i immediately recognized i could learn myself.

I fear failure too, like any man. But successful men fail too, they will tell you, fearless of failure. Fear not failure, but fear itself.
