Run run away!

Thanks to the Stupid JI guy who escaped from Detention, those on duty in camps now have to suffer even more!

Ended night duty today, and praise God, my direct superior is also from lighthouse! Saw him recently in reachlight, kinda suprised to know that we're in the same institute.

Grateful

Praise God :)

My wallet is now back with me.

Went down to SMRT's bus depot at Yio Chu Kang this afternoon to collect the birthday gift from Lijia and Isabel gave last year for my 21st.

2 possible scenarios:

(A) It seems like someone found my wallet somewhere, boarded an SMRT bus, and left it in the bus. The wallet is then discovered by the bus captain.

(B) Someone found my wallet near the bus stop at Yishun (Around the area where I discovered it was missing), and gave it to the bus captain (to direct it to its company's Lost & Found) when the next bus arrived at that particular bus stop. (most buses that ply along yishun belong to SMRT)

Anyway, Whoever you are who found my wallet, I thank you :) Really appreciate your honesty. Because everything I have inside is still there, especially my 11B identity card.

Back to Track

Escaping the urban jungle that we dwell in, into the natural wildlife that God originally intended for Adam and Eve. With such a beautiful place to live in, with the companions of so many animals, and all the sweet delectable fruits in the garden.

Oh well. Pity that we can't enjoy all that now.

Praise God! The escape to ubin was great! Feels great to cycle over sandy terrains once again. It was a good break and exercise for my thigh muscles.

Hope

A letter from SMRT.

Dear Mr. Eugene

Please be informed that a wallet belonging to you had been found onboard our bus.

Praise God!!!

Eh... but come to think of it...

I did not board an SMRT Bus on the day my wallet went missing.

Hmmm...

Attempting to smile

Sometimes when a situation goes wrong, we learn from it. We attempt to learn about the factors that contribute to the failure of the particular circumstance. But if these factors goes missing, or if they are not revealed to you, how are we to learn from the mistake?

Sian.

I apologize for my negativity and "I-have-no-mood" kind of attitude these past few days.

1) Lost my wallet, have no idea how or when it went missing.
2) An indirect superior almost made me to do last minute duty on Sunday, today itself!
3) Generally tired over all the long hours in camp and overnight exercises.

point 2 and 3 weren't too much of a factor in bringing my morale down. Its the first one that's the big blow. That wallet was a gift from Jia and Bel, something I treasure from good friends.

Oh well, without a wallet, there's always the small PowerPac Universal Travel Adaptor Pouch to hold my little amounts of cash and EZ-link card :)

Limit Break

When one knows that an incoming examination paper is one month away, one would note the exact date and time of the paper, and perhaps record it in one's organiser and/or calender. Through this, one can be reminded of the incoming paper and is able to make neccesary arrangements and preparations prior to the examination. If one is unable to make it for the paper due to some other commitments, one would arrange with one's superior to take the examination on a different date, or one could attempt to change the date of the other commitment or reject the commitment completely. If so, one would inform the party responsible of the other commitment and inform that party that one is unable to attend. Because the examination is very important.

Pardon my blabber.

Oh well.

I have to continuously to behave in faith. to behave in the manner where I am not sick. And to stop proclaiming that i'm ill. ROAR!

Some trainee in the past week have been coughing and hacking coughing and hacking coughing and hacking coughing and hacking coughing and hacking coughing and hacking coughing and hacking coughing and hacking coughing and hacking coughing and hacking coughing and hacking coughing and hacking coughing and hacking coughing and hacking coughing and hacking coughing and hacking coughing and hacking coughing and hacking coughing and hacking coughing and hacking coughing and hacking coughing and hacking coughing and hacking coughing and hacking coughing and hacking coughing and hacking coughing and hacking coughing and hacking coughing and hacking coughing and hacking coughing and hacking non-stop during one of the pratical test I conducted. Irritant

One of the many reasons why i love my lil brother despite all that has happened.

Was reading my bible awhile back on my table. My brother came into my room, took my cordless phone and left. Passing by my parent's room, he said with a raised voice,

"Mummy! KorKor is reading the Qur’ān !"

Wa... thanks. haha.

Randomness

The system in the organization is there. it has been well crafted to ensure the smooth operation of the entire division. However its the people in there who are just messing everything up at times.

What is a system without its people supporting the framework and the organization as a whole?

Nothing.

Woke up at 5.30am today. I have no idea what time i slept last night, because I didn't had dinner. Was just too tired after this week. seems I may need to burn yet another saturday this coming week. Ugh hope it doesn't clash with my cell's ubin trip.

Squeak!

And in case if i haven't wished you guys, Blessed Belated Lunar New Year!!

Time to usher in the year of the rodents! woo!

This period is always the same period to put on some kilograms, all the roasted pork, pineapple tarts, abalone, salmon, steamboats. So easy to gain, yet its so hard to burn all those evil triglycerides, especially those in the adipocytes in our belly area. haha!

I shall break my 2008's resolution (that is to stop making new year's resolution), and have a new lunar new year's resolution;

-> I will attempt to reduce calory intake by having a heavier breakfast, no lunch and a light dinner to end my day. This will take into effect from this coming monday onwards. Screw my lunch indent in camp man, food is terrible there too. oh well, thats another story for another day.

-> I will attempt to stop making supper from now. (give me 1 week, and i'll break this stupid resolution)

Ms Alice Tan. Im trying very hard to recall her name. I think its that. She's the one who changed my life, on Bus 53, back in 21st November 1998.

"He is knocking on your door at your heart, do you want to open the door for him to enter?"

Nervous for tomorrow, or rather, later. haha. Guess its normal. the fact that i'm emotionally bogged down by several redundant issues aint helping man...

"Singing for the audience of One..."

Void

Fell asleep just now after another round of YuSheng at home. Woke up at 11pm+. Guess i'm beat after all the outings, lunches, visitations and all.

It was a long weekend, but somehow i'm still tired, i'm still bogged down by something. the moment you want to speak the words to describe, it just fades off from my lips. I'm tired.

Memories of the lil skit Engie directed some years back. The group of us all in white. All made pure and untainted, yet each of us had an empty hole in th middle. An emptiness. Attempting to fill the void by ourselves, we often fail. Or rather, we always fail.

Oh well

Having the head knowledge is one thing. But having sink it deep down into your heart is a completely seperate issue altogether.

It can churn out sadness out of a very jovial person within seconds...

.

Its going to be a short week. 2 days to complete my task before the top heads start hanging Pig heads outside my office.

Oh well.
